VEGAN PIZZA TOPPING IDEAS
#1 BBQ Bean Avocado Pizza
1 cup red kidney beans (170g)
1/3 BBQ Sauce
1 onion
1 clove of garli
oil or water to sauté
a splash of water to thin out the sauce, if needed
marinara sauce, optional
1 avocado
juice of 1/2 lemon
greens
*yields enough topping for 1-2 pizzas (depending on the size you go for)
#2 Chickpea Pesto Pizza

1/2 cup vegan pesto
1/2 cup of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
a few tbsp marinara sauce
cherry tomatoes, basil, red onion, nutritional yeast…
#3 Ratatouille Pizza
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 zuchini
1 bell pepper
1 aubergine
2 tsp olive or coconut oil
1 tbsp tomato purée
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup vegetable broth (125 ml)
1 tbsp Italian herbs
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1-2 tsp agave or maple syrup
salt, pepper to taste
‘Vegan Parmesan’
2/3 cup cashews, (100g) [raw or roasted in the oven without oil for 8 min at 180C]
2 1/2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika, smoked
1 tsp Italian seasoning
