It is no secret that I love chocolate! I’ve never been a coffee drinker, so for me there’s nothing better in the cold months than a nice mug of hot chocolate. Last winter, I tried to make a vegan whole food, plant-based version, but I didn’t really know what I was doing. Now that I have another year of this lifestyle under my belt, I decided to give it another try!

For this recipe, you’ll need a blender (preferably high speed like a Vitamix) and just three ingredients: almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder and Medjool dates.
